Northwest should shell out the 6-7k in fines which is mere pittance compared to what Mrs. Bogucki suffered as a result either from carelessnes or inadequate staffing. NWA should be reminded that the 6-7K in fines pay for the initial investigation by the NTSB and that there investigation has brought attention innadequacies in there equipment and safety standards thus saving them perhaps millions in lawsuits that could result from a similir accident occuring in the future.!

only 6000-7000$ in fines and they are fighting this!!!!!!! they spend more on attorney fees for 1 hour than the fine that is being imposed!!!!!!
